The Open Innovation Map
The Open Innovation Map is our first project under Mapize’s new version. This is an interactive database of key players in the field of open innovation worldwide.
To better visualize the Open Innovation ecosystem around the world we used two different views:
1. The map to geo-locate each OI player.
2. The directory of OI players, which includes detailed information about each member and his network with other subscribers to the OIM.
We subdivided the open innovation players into 3 groups: Ideators (startups, entrepreneurs, developers etc.), Scouts (VCs, investors, business angels etc.) and Open Innovators (major corporations, public bodies... with an open innovation strategy).
Here are some big international companies we already have in OIM database: BMW Group, Dell, Ford, LG, Nokia, Philips, PepsiCo, Starbucks, Campbell, Colgate and others.

Key features:
• The User-Generated Content feature enables users to subscribe to the project and appear in OIM database.
• Filter by types of subscribers (Ideators, Scouts, Open innovators)
• Filter by fields (country, project category, nb of employees)
